OVERVIEW
The ShowView® system, known as the VIDEO Plus+® System in the U.K., is an instant recording technology built-into all forms of recording devices including DVDRs and VCRs. To record a programme, users simply enter the ShowView number for the programme into the recording equipment. ShowView Numbers, published in leading TV listings sources throughout Europe, are 1 to 9 digit codes that correspond to individual television programmes. The ShowView system will begin recording the desired show automatically, and stops recording it when the show is over.
